Job Description:
NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK, employs around 40,000 staff across various clinical and non-clinical roles. We provide a wide range of services including acute hospital, primary, community, and mental health care to a population of over 1.15 million, expanding to 2.2 million with regional and national services.
We have one full-time (37 hours/week) and one part-time (34.10 hours/week) permanent position available, both with a rotational shift pattern. Please note that salaries are pro-rata for part-time hours.
Requirements: Candidates must have a current NMC UK pin to be considered.
We are recruiting nurses for the acute medical unit at Vale of Leven Hospital, based in Lomond ward, with opportunities to rotate to the Acute Receiving Unit and Medical Assessment Unit after induction.
Lomond ward is a 27-bed medical ward providing exposure to various specialties, including palliative care. The role offers excellent opportunities to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team on goal setting and discharge planning.
