Personal Injury Claims Handler

Location: UK – Swansea - hybrid working 3 days in the office 2 days from home

Working hours: 40 hours per week - Monday to Friday

Contract: Permanent

Salary: £30,000 to £35,000 (Depending on experience) + bonus and company benefits

Start: ASAP

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Personal Injury Claims Handler to join their dynamic Personal Injury claims team. The role involves managing personal injury claims efficiently and fairly, ensuring compliance with procedures and delivering excellent customer service. The position offers opportunities for professional development and progression to handle more complex cases.

Key Responsibilities

* Follow pre- and post-litigation procedures to ensure effective and economical resolution of claims.
* Validate claims details and ensure accuracy of records.
* Identify and escalate any underwriting concerns for review.
* Investigate and establish the circumstances of losses and conduct liability enquiries.
* Validate accounts and authorise payments in line with company policies.
* Maintain accurate and updated estimates throughout the claim lifecycle.

Skills and Experience

* Experience in personal injury claims (essential)
* Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
* Excellent communication and numerical ability.
* Commitment to delivering high-quality customer service.
* Highly organised with strong prioritisation skills.
