Channel Marketing Manager (German Speaker)
Location: Reading, UK (Hybrid – 1 day per week in the office, typically Tuesdays)

Overview
We are seeking a talented Channel Marketing Manager (German speaker) to lead regional marketing execution and planning within a major global technology organisation. This role plays a key part in driving consumer engagement, partner enablement, and sales growth across retail and digital channels.
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong analytical and communication skills, experienced in consumer technology or retail marketing, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
Key Responsibilities
Analysis & Insight
* Analyse consumer behaviour, market trends, and partner performance to generate actionable insights and drive unified sell-through plans.
* Evaluate and optimise marketing campaigns and promotions to maximise ROI.
* Monitor competitor activity and recommend tactical adjustments.
* Collaborate across EMEA and global teams to develop marketing strategies aligned with key retail seasons and industry trends.
* Gather, interpret, and present data from partners and market sources to inform marketing decisions.
Marketing Planning
* Develop medium- and long-term retail marketing plans aligned with seasonal demand and product life cycles.
* Support local markets in preparing for key selling seasons and aligning to global planning guidelines.
* Drive operational planning and readiness within the regional marketing rhythm of business (ROB) framework.
Marketing Execution
* Lead the execution of regional marketing initiatives across sales, category, and retail services teams.
* Ensure consistency with global brand and campaign direction while adapting to local market needs.
* Coordinate marketing efforts across teams, including digital, merchandising, field, and training.
* Share best practices and lessons learned to improve marketing performance across markets.
Business Operational Excellence
* Manage budgets effectively to ensure ROI and adherence to KPIs.
* Demonstrate entrepreneurial thinking while staying aligned with strategic goals.
* Collaborate with internal leads to enhance reporting, analytics, and retail execution performance.
* Influence and align stakeholders across multiple regions and business units.
* Communicate strategy clearly, ensuring shared understanding and accountability.
* Build strong, trusted relationships with internal teams and external partners.
* Marketing Strategy & Execution – Ability to create and deliver high-impact, integrated channel marketing plans.
* Data Analysis & Insight – Skilled in turning data into actionable marketing and business insights.

Experience & Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred).
* Minimum 4 years’ experience in retail or channel marketing, ideally within consumer technology.
* Proven success in campaign planning and execution.
* Strong stakeholder management and cross-group collaboration skills.
* Experience with new product launches and lifecycle marketing.
* Excellent German and English communication skills (written and spoken).
* Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, global, and matrixed environment.
