Health, Safety, Environmental & Facilities Manager
Alexander Steele has partnered with a leading Food Manufacturer that is looking for a Health, Safety, Environmental & Facilities Manager. It is a key leadership role, guiding their compliance, environmental, and people safety strategy across the site.
Location: Kent
Salary: Up to £49,000 plus Performance related bonus
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am – 4pm (Onsite)

General Responsibilities:
1. Ensure a safe, legally compliant working environment for all staff
2. Develop and maintain H&S policies, procedures, and risk assessments
3. Lead incident investigations and drive corrective action plans
4. Coordinate site inspections, audits, fire drills, and lone-working protocols
5. Champion the Environmental & Sustainability strategy, aligning with wider business goals
6. Oversee facilities maintenance, ensuring safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery
7. Mentor and support the Environmental & Sustainability Coordinator
8. Lead H&S committee meetings and deliver internal training sessions
9. Collaborate closely with Production, Technical, HR, and other business functions
10. Manage onboarding inductions for new and agency staff
