About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and detail‑oriented Locum Pharmacy Dispenser to support pharmacy teams across a range of settings. This is a flexible opportunity ideal for experienced dispensers looking to pick up shifts that suit their schedule.
Key Responsibilities
* Accurately dispense prescription medications under the supervision of a pharmacist
* Label and prepare medication in accordance with legal and professional standards
* Provide excellent customer service and respond to patient queries
* Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality at all times
* Manage stock levels, including ordering and checking deliveries
* Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and health & safety procedures
Requirements
* Previous experience working as a Pharmacy Dispenser
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent)
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Up-to‑date knowledge of pharmacy laws and procedures
* EMIS Trained
