Are you passionate about developing people and driving service excellence? This exciting opportunity as a Trainer within Home Claims Services offers a dynamic and rewarding career path. Based in the Glasgow office with hybrid working flexibility, the role is central to onboarding and nurturing Claims Technicians, ensuring they are equipped with the skills and confidence to deliver outstanding customer service.
As a dedicated training resource, you’ll design and deliver structured programmes that focus on customer management, process navigation, and the use of Sedgwick’s systems. Your work will directly impact the quality of service by embedding best practices and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. You’ll also play a key role in quality assurance, conducting call reviews and identifying areas for development, helping operational teams maintain high standards.
Beyond internal training, you’ll collaborate with contractors and supply chain managers to ensure external partners understand expectations and processes, fostering smooth and effective partnerships. Your influence will extend across teams, promoting consistency and cross-functional learning, while acting as a trusted knowledge resource for the subsidence division.
This role is ideal for someone with experience in household property damage insurance claims and a background in training, coaching, or mentoring. Strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to simplify complex information are essential.
What you'll bring to the role:
* Insurance Claims Expertise – Experience in household property damage insurance claims is essential.
* Training & Coaching Experience – Proven background in delivering training, coaching, or mentoring.
* Professional Qualifications – Cert CILA qualified or willing to work towards certification.
* Strong Communication Skills – Ability to present clearly and confidently to diverse audiences.
* Process Simplification – Skilled at breaking down complex procedures into understandable steps.
* Organised & Proactive – Capable of managing multiple training programmes simultaneously.
* Training Credentials – A recognised training or coaching qualification (e.g., CIPD, TAP) is desirable.
* IT Proficiency – Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
