Senior Electrical Engineer - Thames Valley Region Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer seeking a new challenge? This company is looking for a talented Senior Electrical Engineer to join their dynamic team and make a significant impact on their upcoming projects. 18-24 month contract The Role of the Senior Electrical Engineer As the Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for managing the electrical safety on site, liaising with subcontractors, suppliers, internal teams, and design consultants. Your key duties will include: Reviewing and approving subcontractor safety documentation Working closely with the project team to ensure safety and quality standards are maintained Interacting with the project team to support the concept design through to construction, delivery, and project close-out Collaborating with the mechanical and commissioning teams to ensure a seamless transition across disciplines and work packages Representing the company as the client liaison at team meetings and in-person discussions Managing changes on site, working with the commercial team to differentiate between the contract scope and requested changes Informing the programme/planner about risks and durations, working on multiple schemes in both waste and potable water projects What We're Looking For The ideal candidate for this Senior Electrical Engineer role will possess the following qualifications and skills: Extensive experience as a Senior Electrical Engineer, preferably in the water industry Excellent technical knowledge and understanding of electrical systems and safety protocols Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality work Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications Familiar with the latest industry regulations and best practices Holds a valid CSCS card, with additional certifications (e.g., First Aid) being desirableIf you're an ambitious and driven Senior Electrical Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, this is an excellent opportunity to take your career to the next level.
