Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role in Wolverhampton for a Children's Residential Care Worker. The role involves providing direct care and support to children and young people in a residential setting. Daily tasks include developing and implementing care plans, offering emotional and practical support, maintaining records, and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. The care worker will collaborate with other professionals and participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
Qualifications
* Experience in residential care and working with children and young people
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to develop and implement care plans
* Knowledge of safeguarding practices
* Basic administrative and record-keeping skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Relevant certifications or qualifications in social care or a related field are preferred or willingness to undertake Professional Qualification
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
