A well-established household name in consumer products is looking to appoint an Assistant Management Accountant to join its growing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified finance professional looking to develop within a fast-paced commercial environment, supporting month-end processes, reporting, and day-to-day finance operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Supporting the Management Accountant & Finance Director with the preparation of monthly management accounts
* Assisting with accruals and prepayments
* Supporting balance sheet reconciliations
* Assisting with VAT returns and compliance processes
* Supporting lender reporting requirements
* Processing invoices and maintaining accurate financial records
* Assisting the wider finance team with ad-hoc reporting and analysis
* Supporting general office and administrative duties where required
About You
* Studying towards ACA, ACCA or CIMA
* Previous experience within an accounts or finance role
* Understanding of month-end processes
* Strong Excel skills
* ERP system exposure would be advantageous
* Organised with good attention to detail
* Able to manage deadlines and prioritise workload effectively
* Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn
