Care Supervisor
Location: Bowles Court, Chippenham, Wiltshire.
Hourly rates: £15.24 per hour for day shifts, £12.24 per hour for sleeping night shifts. Extra £1 per hour for work from midnight Friday to midnight Sunday.
Hours: 33.5 hours per week (mix of day and night shifts). Day shifts run between 08:45–16:30 or 16:15–09:30. Night shifts run 21:30–09:00. Care Supervisors sleep from 23:00–07:00, providing emergency support during that period.
Responsibilities: Support the management and smooth running of this thriving community of active and independent older people, ensuring high‑quality customer standards. Manage the security and safety of the development, oversee Care and Support teams, coordinate community activities, and lead by example.
Qualifications
* Warm, friendly, organised, self‑motivated with experience in a care or support environment and excellent care skills.
* Desire to work in the Health and Social Care sector; preferably hold a QCF Health and Social Care (Adults) Level 3 qualification, though alternative qualifications and relevant experience will be considered.
* Ability to take responsibility for managing security, safety, and well‑being of homeowners; overseeing Care and Support teams.
* Ability to coordinate and facilitate activities strengthening community spirit.
* Driven to grow skills, lead by example, and think on feet.
* Able to make a difference to the wellbeing and happiness of older people.
