Sounds great, what will I be doing?

The role requires regular key work sessions across London and the South East, drafting formal communications to the Home Office and partner agencies, and maintaining accurate case records. You will liaise with statutory and non-statutory services, respond to urgent safeguarding concerns, and uphold Hestia's values, policies, and procedures while contributing to the organisation's wider aims.
What do I need to bring with me?
You'll need to be able to demonstrate the core skills this role requires as well as match our values and mission. You don't have to tick all the boxes right away; the important thing is that you're willing to learn. We also value lived experience of the areas we support, so if you feel comfortable, please do mention this on your application.
Here's what the team will be looking for
You will bring a creative and engaging approach to advocacy, with the ability to deliver innovative, community-based key work sessions that meet service user needs. Resilient under pressure, you can manage stressful situations and respond to emergencies with professionalism, while maintaining clear boundaries and managing expectations appropriately. Comfortable working independently, you will demonstrate strong time management skills, the ability to prioritise urgent tasks, and the confidence to liaise effectively with external agencies and professionals.
Alongside this, you will have a solid understanding of safeguarding and its practical application, excellent written communication skills, and strong IT capability, including case management databases and Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
