Overview
Deliver parcels as part of a multi‑drop route in the Winchester area. You will be a positive ambassador for Royal Mail, preparing your van and workload, and using route‑planning tools to ensure parcels reach the right place at the right time. You will work on a permanent basis with 30 hours per week, across 5 days, including occasional Saturdays and Sundays as required by operation needs.
Responsibilities
* Drive a delivery vehicle and complete multi‑drop routes in the assigned area
* Prepare your van and plan workload for the day using route‑planning technology
* Deliver parcels and ensure items are scanned, sorted, and delivered to customers with care
* Interact with customers in a friendly, professional manner and act as a positive ambassador for Royal Mail
* Work in the afternoon and early evenings as needed and comply with schedule requirements
* Adhere to health and safety guidelines and company policies
What we are looking for
* Upbeat, self‑motivated and able to work independently
* Organised, punctual with good initiative
* Committed to delivering great customer service
* Comfortable interacting with customers and representing Royal Mail
* Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points

* Guaranteed hourly rate of £13.06 per hour (paid monthly and adjusted to working hours)
* Overtime paid at enhanced rate (x1.25) for hours over 40 per week

Please note: Roles offering between 35–40 hours per week are listed as full‑time for candidate search purposes. Roles under 40 hours per week will be classified as part‑time in the employment contract.
