Associate / Senior Associate - Insurance Disputes (3 PQE) Leeds Competitive salary An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Associate or Senior Associate to join a leading defendant professional indemnity team in Leeds. This role will involve handling high-quality, complex professional indemnity claims on behalf of insurers and professionals, including lawyers, construction specialists, accountants and insurance brokers. You will work closely with experienced partners and be part of a wider national disputes team, gaining exposure to high-value and technically challenging matters. The successful candidate will have a strong background in professional indemnity and/or commercial litigation, gained either in private practice or in-house. Experience of the professional indemnity insurance market is desirable but not essential. You will be responsible for managing complex claims, developing client relationships and delivering a high level of service. There is also an expectation to contribute to team development through mentoring and supervising junior colleagues. Candidates should demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, excellent commercial awareness and the ability to think strategically and solve problems effectively. A proactive and organised approach, along with the ability to manage competing priorities, is essential.
