What the Job Involves As a Social Worker within Children's Services, you will: Screen and triage contacts through the Front Door, prioritizing the safety and wellbeing of children. Engage children, young people, and families in actively participating in assessments and decision-making. Conduct Family Help assessments and deliver evidence-based interventions. Manage Child in Need (CIN) and Child Protection (CP) cases, working in partnership with families and professionals. Lead and contribute to multi-agency meetings, case conferences, and court processes where required. Maintain accurate and timely case records and ensure compliance with statutory requirements. Participate in professional development and service improvement initiatives.
