Job Title: Year 4 Primary Teacher Location: Middlesbrough Salary: £130 – £160 per day (Depending on experience) Start Date: Immediate Contract Type: Full-Time/ Part-time, Long-Term/ Day-to-day Are you a caring and adaptable Year 4 Primary Teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity in Middlesbrough? GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Year 4 Primary Teacher to join a supportive primary school in Middlesbrough . This role is ideal for an enthusiastic educator who can create a positive learning environment and build strong relationships with pupils, including those with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The successful candidate will be a genuinely kind and approachable person who is firm but fair in their approach. Flexibility and the ability to respond effectively to the diverse needs of pupils are essential. The school uses ARK and Kapow resources , with planning available to adapt from previous lessons, and confidence in using Google Drive is important. Knowledge of Read Write Inc. (RWI) would be highly advantageous. Key Responsibilities of the Y4 Primary Teacher: Plan, adapt, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Year 4 curriculum. Support pupils with a range of learning and SEMH needs. Use existing ARK and Kapow planning to provide high-quality learning experiences. Foster a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment. Monitor pupil progress and provide targeted support where required. Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff. Requirements for the Y4 Primary Teacher role: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience teaching Key Stage 2, preferably Year 4. A warm and approachable personality with a firm but fair attitude. Confidence in supporting pupils with SEMH needs. Good IT skills, including experience using Google Drive. Knowledge of Read Write Inc. (RWI) is desirable.
