The Role
We are seeking a fully skilled inspector to increase our capability and capacity in this area, working on small batch work. The role involves working in a small team to deliver high‑quality transmission components, mainly for the motorsport and aerospace industries, with a right first-time philosophy.
Key Competencies and Experience
* Strong understanding of technical drawings and geometric tolerances
* Ability to interpret and inspect components from drawings and planning route cards to the highest quality and within routed timeframes
* Experience using manual measuring equipment and performing table work to check parts against drawing or planning requirements
* Programming experience on CMM and knowledge of Mitutoyo software would be advantageous
* Demonstrates a proactive and innovative approach to team support, with a strong focus on problem solving and continuous improvement
* Flexible in supporting other areas of manufacturing when required
* Willingness to work additional hours to meet delivery deadlines
