Healthcare Assistant – Private Hospital Ward & Clinic
We are seeking a compassionate and professional Healthcare Assistant to join our team in a private hospital and clinic environment. In this role, you will support patients across various departments, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and safety while assisting clinical staff in delivering high-quality care. The ideal candidate will be empathetic, well-organized, and committed to excellence in patient service.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist patients with personal care tasks including hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
* Support nursing and medical staff in implementing individual care plans.
* Monitor and report changes in patients' conditions to clinical staff promptly.
* Prepare patients for procedures and consultations, ensuring comfort and reassurance.
* Maintain accurate and confidential patient records using hospital systems.
* Escort patients to diagnostic tests, outpatient appointments, or therapy sessions.
* Ensure clinical areas are clean, safe, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
* Promote a calm and welcoming environment for patients and visitors.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
Qualifications & Skills
* Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred.
* NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) is desirable.
* Proficient in English (spoken and written) for effective communication.
* Basic IT skills for electronic record-keeping and communication.
* Strong interpersonal skills with a caring and professional approach.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
