Role Description
This is a contract remote role for a Charterer. The Charterer will oversee managing vessel chartering services, negotiating terms of contracts, and communicating with clients about schedules, shipments, and logistics. The role includes analyzing market performance, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring client needs are effectively met. The professional will work closely with brokers, shipping partners, and other stakeholders in the energy and petrochemical industries.
Qualifications
Proven skills in vessel chartering, logistics coordination, and trade execution within the tanker and petrochemical markets
Experience in negotiation, contract management, and client relationship building
Strong market analysis, reporting, and research skills
Effective communication, problem-solving, teamwork, and organizational capabilities
Proficiency in industry-standard technology and tools for market monitoring
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote work environment
Bachelor's degree in Business, Maritime Studies, Logistics, or a related field
Prior experience in the maritime or petrochemical industry is an advantage
