Nicholsons Sealing Technologies Ltd are a global specialist in the design and manufacture of high-temperature metal seals for aerospace, automotive and power generation sectors. We are seeking a Logistics Operator to join our expanding team.
This is the ideal role for an Operator to build skills with a successful company offering a modern working environment and excellent training and development opportunities.
As the Logistics Operator your duties will include:
1. Undertaking a wide range of inspection, storage and dispatch duties in relation to high quality components with tight tolerances.
2. Quality inspection of parts both visually and by use of measuring equipment and jigs.
3. Effective storage, picking and packing of product to meet customer delivery requirements.
4. Follow works instructions, engineering drawings and standard operating procedure.
5. Accurate completion of paperwork for all processes.
6. Ensuring that all products dispatched are of a high quality to uphold the company’s reputation for excellence.
To be a successful Logistics Operator you will have the following skills and experience:
7. Experience of product visual inspection or verification
8. Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
9. Good literacy and numeracy standards
10. Basic IT skills
11. The ability to work independently and on your own initiative
12. Flexibility in relation to working hours and duties
13. Experience of product visual inspection
14. Experience of working in a logistic or quality environment
15. A forklift truck licence and / or electric stacker truck certificate is desirable but not essential
