Cherry Tree Speech and Language Therapist Ltd are looking for associate Speech and Language Therapists to work with a 15 year old client within the Bracknell area (Crowthorne).
Applicants must have a degree in Speech and Language Therapy and be RCSLT and HCPC registered.
This role is for a specific client and would suit a band 5/ 6 therapist who is looking to specialise, venture into independent work or work extra hours on evenings or weekends. Although work can be flexible regarding times and days according to the client, the clients and we will expect reliability and dedication. Over time it is likely there will be more client's to work with if that would be of interest.
We are a family run business who pride ourselves on delivering fun and innovative therapy to our clients and their families, many of whom we have worked with for several years.
Therapy takes place in either school or homes depending on the client's needs, and all involve the opportunity to work within an already established MDT. There will also be MDT meetings to attend and reports to write when requested.
Cherry Tree Speech and Language Therapy specialise in working with clients and young adults with Special Educational Needs and often to Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties. Experience of working with children with multiple AAC types would be beneficial but not essential.
The role will involve travel (which will be paid, as well as additional mileage costs up to a certain amount/time) please ask for more details. Candidates must have a clean driving licence and have their own vehicle to get around or be keen to travel on public transport.
Rate is £50 an hour for direct and indirect work relating to the clients e.g. reports and £25 an hour travelling (up to a certain time which can be discussed) plus 50p per mile travelled.
Associates will operate as self-employed therapists under the supervision of Cherry Tree Speech and Language Therapy. Support to set up as a self-employed therapist can be provided if needed.
