We are seeking a Clinical Trial Manager to lead the delivery of the ACCELERATE-CMR trial, a multi-centre study evaluating a new, faster cardiac MRI scan for patients with suspected coronary heart disease. This innovative trial aims to transform clinical care by reducing scan times from 45–50 minutes to around 20 minutes, improving patient experience and reducing waiting lists. In this role, you will take responsibility for planning, coordinating, and managing all aspects of the trial. Working closely with the Chief Investigator and Cardiovascular Research Manager, you will ensure compliance with University SOPs, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards. You will also liaise with clinical and academic teams, sponsors, and NHS partners to maintain high-quality trial delivery and timely reporting. About you You will hold a degree in a relevant biomedical science (or near completion) or have extensive experience as a Trial Coordinator, with a strong understanding of clinical research and trial management methodology. Proven project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively are essential. Experience in preparing regulatory submissions, protocols, and trial documentation will be highly valued. Excellent communication and organisational skills are key, as you will engage with a wide range of stakeholders including investigators, sponsors, and NHS patients. Additional information Informal enquiries are welcome and should be made to Hannah Gilbert on [email protected] As part of the University’s ongoing commitment to professional development, this role will also be considered on a seconded basis for existing staff members. Please ensure this is discussed with your line manager prior to applying.
