Are you an experienced professional with a passion for cloud infrastructure and innovation? Hightown is excited to announce a brand-new opportunity for a Platform Engineer to join our dynamic team!
About The Role
As our Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining our Azure cloud infrastructure, wide and local area networks, and on-premises infrastructure. Your primary responsibility will be to manage and optimise Azure cloud services, ensuring ongoing high availability, security, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage Azure Resources: Oversee virtual machines, storage accounts, databases, and networking components.
* Develop Automation Scripts: Streamline operations and improve efficiency.
* Collaborate with Development Teams: Ensure seamless integration of applications with the infrastructure.
* Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues: Address cloud and network infrastructure problems in a timely manner.
* Stay Current: Keep up with emerging technologies and industry trends to continually improve infrastructure and services.
Experience and Qualifications:
* Degree: Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
* Proven Experience: As a Platform Engineer or similar role, with a focus on Azure cloud infrastructure.
* Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of Azure services, including VMs, App Services, Azure SQL, Storage, and Networking.
* Scripting and Automation: Experience with tools such as PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Terraform.
