Role Overview
As an AWS Solution Architect, you will work with customers to define and architect AWS solutions supporting their cloud adoption journey and beyond. You will elicit requirements, understand existing ecosystems, and define patterns and services for successful migrations, ensuring architectures are well-designed and reusable, utilizing infrastructure as code for automation.
Core Responsibilities
1. Lead migration enablement efforts technically.
2. Collaborate with development teams to deliver migration services using common standards and artifacts.
3. Define and document AWS architectures, including reference architectures and standards.
4. Conduct architectural reviews to leverage vendor technologies effectively.
5. Develop and communicate deployment patterns for migration.
6. Support teams in optimizing migration paths and troubleshooting incidents.
7. Promote automation and documentation to support reusability and global support.
Candidate Profile
You should have experience in:
* Cloud migration and platform architecture with AWS.
* Solving complex business issues using AWS, regarded as an AWS SME.
* DevOps and CI/CD tools.
* AWS security and networking services.
* Working within an Agile framework.
* Understanding of cybersecurity principles.
* Effective communication skills.
* Motivating teams to adopt new tools and standards.
Additional desirable experience includes industry certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Security, Networking), scaled Agile certifications, stakeholder management, and mentoring.
