About The Role
With the ever-increasing number of treatments and care we give to patients, the Stores Team part of the Facilities department is looking to hire a Van Driver/Porter to join and assist the team at our Emerson’s Green hospital, Bristol and our surgical day centre in Devizes, Wiltshire.
Please note that this is a Monday to Friday position 8:00am - 4:00pm with occasional Saturdays worked as overtime.
* £27,428.34 per year
* Full-time 37.5 hours per week working Mondays to Fridays with some occasional Saturdays
* Private pension with employer contributions.
* 25 days annual leave up to a max. of 28 days (Pro-rata for part-time employees) + UK Bank Holidays.

What you'll be doing
* Driving a 3.5T Luton van between sites and other CSSD partners
* Deliver a best-in-class clinical supplies service for the Hospital and treatment centre Devizes.
* Be responsible for optimizing customer satisfaction by transporting and delivering CSSD equipment, patient notes, daily post, OPD samples & controlled drugs, and/or other items in a safe and timely manner.
* Provide a prompt, courteous service to all patients, administrative staff, doctors and nurses.
What we’ll look for in you
Essential
* Satisfactory Occupational health Clearance for the role specified
* Good attendance record
* Satisfactory relevant DBS clearance
* Ability to comply with manual handling guidelines and instructions.
* Full, clean driving licence to drive a Luton van between PPG sites, daily

* Good level of educational attainment/previous experience within the NHS
