We are working with a manufacturingpany to find them a Sales Order Processor (Temp to Perm) in ScunthorpeHours:Monday–Thursday: 08:30–16:30 Friday: 08:00–16:00We are seeking a highly organised and customer‑focused Sales Order Processor to join our team on a temporary-to-permanent basis. This role supports sales, administration, operations and finance functions, ensuring customers receive a seamless service from enquiry through to delivery. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-driven, and confident working across CRM/ERP systems in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Administration & Customer Support
1. Assist the sales and administration team with day-to-day duties.
2. Provide exceptional customer service via telephone and email.
3. Deal with customer pre-sales enquiries promptly and professionally.
4. Prepare and send sales quotations to customers.
5. Manage miscellaneous customer emails and correspondence.
Order Processing & Documentation
6. Process and revise customer sales orders.
7. Convert orders to invoices within the ERP system.
8. Prepare Excel reports for carriers and customers.
9. Raise customer NCR (Non-Conformance Report) requests and manage them through to resolution.
10. Liaise with carriers to obtain proof of delivery or resolve non-delivery issues.
11. Handle and resolve invoice queries.
12. Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM/ERP records.
The Successful Applicant
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:
13. Strong attention to detail and a high level of data accuracy.
14. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
15. Experience with ERP systems.
16. Excellent organisational, written, and verbalmunication skills.
17. A strong customer service background with confidence in dealing with enquiries.
18. Ability to multitask, prioritise workload and work independently with minimal supervision.
