Role Description
In this role, you will shape the visual identity of our brand through a mix of clean static designs, dynamic animations, and responsive web interfaces. You own the design process end to end: sketching wireframes, producing high-fidelity artboards, animating key motions, coding and launching microsites, and optimizing for performance and accessibility. Working across cross-functional squads, you pivot effortlessly between digital campaigns, marketing/investment collateral, email templates, and UI systems. Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects, CSS frameworks, and content management systems allows you to champion creative solutions on any platform. Your ability to bridge design fundamentals with technical implementation accelerates project delivery and raises the bar for quality.
Desired Skillsets
* End-to-end design workflow:
wireframing, high-fidelity mockups, interactive prototypes (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD)
* Static artboard creation:
advanced skills in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign for digital and print collateral
* Motion and animation:
storyboarding, keyframe animation, transitions and compositing in After Effects; exporting Lottie/JSON for web
* Front-end development:
semantic HTML5, modular CSS3, ES6+ JavaScript and responsive design principles
* CSS frameworks and preprocessors:
Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, Sass/LESS for scalable, maintainable styles
* JavaScript libraries and frameworks:
GSAP or for motion; React or for interactive UI components
* Content management and deployment:
WordPress, Webflow or headless CMS (Contentful, Strapi)
* Design systems and documentation:
component libraries, style guides, pattern libraries and governance
Requirements
* Ability to work on-site in South Lanarkshire
* Driving License and own reliable car/transportation
Renumeration
Either:
1. Salary: £30,000 per annum (pro rata based on a 0.8 FTE salary of £37,500), or
2. Salary: £22,500 per annum (pro rata based on a 0.6 FTE salary of £37,500)
