Job Description
* Leading and managing the overall production operations to ensure efficiency and quality
* Developing and implementing strategies for continuous improvement within the department
* Ensuring adherence to all health and safety regulations within the production area
* Managing and training a team of production staff to maintain high performance levels
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve company goals
* Overseeing production budgets and controlling associated costs
* Ensuring the highest standards of quality control are met
The Successful Applicant
A successful Production Manager should have:
* Proven experience in a production management role within the FMCG industry
* Excellent leadership and team management skills
* Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations
* A strategic mindset with excellent problem-solving skills
* Superior communication and interpersonal skills
* Demonstrable background in Continuous Improvement methodology
* Capex management experience from concept to completion
* An understanding of Engineering processes within a production facility
