Job Description
3. Support fee-earners with live files and conveyancing transactions from instruction to post-completion.
4. Liaise with clients, agents, lenders, and solicitors to ensure smooth progression of transactions.
5. Assist with preparing reports on title, mortgages, and searches (under supervision).
6. Review and raise enquiries on title, contract packs, searches, and surveys.
7. Handle administrative tasks including file opening, AML compliance, exchange, completion, and post-completion duties.
8. Draft financial statements and invoices.
9. Maintain internal systems and manage general administration.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Real Estate Paralegal should have:
10. Previous experience in a legal setting, ideally within residential or commercial conveyancing.
11. Strong understanding of the conveyancing process.
12. Legal qualifications (e.g., LPC, CILEX) are desirable but not essential-support for qualification routes is available.
13. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
