You will be part of a team, working towards growing a new company as part of a wider group of companies, specialising in M&E, gas, and plumbing services across both commercial and residential properties.
We are looking for a gas engineer who is not only confident with gas and plumbing works but is also willing to carry out occasional general maintenance tasks. This includes basic plumbing, carpentry, electrics, and general building maintenance, supporting the varied needs of our clients. Commercial experience is preferred, along with a keen interest in progressing into a fully rounded commercial gas engineer role.
Our work is primarily within block management, commercial buildings, and high-end residential properties.
We either pay £260 and you cover your own fuel and parking & congestion charge, or we pay £200 and we cover parking and fuel & congestion.
Generally the £200 works out cheaper for the engineer, as some days there can be central London work and lots of driving using up fuel.

- Conduct inspections and tests to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with gas equipment and systems
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating equipment
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used
Skills:
- Proficient in using hand tools for installation and repair work
- Possess a valid commercial driving license for transportation of equipment and materials
- Knowledge of carpentry techniques for constructing gas system components
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating gas flow rates
- Mechanical knowledge to understand the functioning of gas appliances and systems
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
- Experience with welding for fabrication or repair work
- Familiarity with power tools for efficient installation and maintenance tasks
- Plumbing skills to connect gas lines and fixtures accurately
- Ability to assemble, disassemble, and reassemble gas equipment safely
