Financial Director – B2B SaaS Cyber Security GRC Location: Central London (4 days per month, some in the office) | Employment Type: Part-Time/Flexible About the Role We're seeking an experienced Financial Director to join our B2B SaaS Cyber Security GRC company at an exciting stage of growth. This is a unique opportunity to work directly with the CEO as a strategic partner, shaping the financial infrastructure and supporting the commercial development of an innovative business in the rapidly expanding GRC sector. We are in the midst of an overhaul of processes and systems. You would be instrumental in integrating revenue operations with financial information. Operating on a flexible basis (4 days per month, with hours to be agreed collectively), you'll take ownership of all financial and compliance matters while serving as a trusted advisor to leadership on strategic initiatives. Key Responsibilities Financial Management & Reporting * Prepare monthly management accounts, providing clear insights to drive business decisions * Lead the development and management of the annual budgeting process * Prepare statutory annual reports and accounts, including interim reports, in accordance with IFRS * Deliver comprehensive financial planning and analysis to support strategic planning Governance & Compliance * Ensure full AIM compliance and serve as the primary liaison with the company's NOMAD * Manage company secretarial duties, maintaining proper corporate governance * Participate actively in Board Meetings, contributing financial and strategic insights Leadership & Development * Manage and develop the Financial Controller, building capability within the finance function * Act as the CEO's right hand, proactively identifying opportunities and initiatives to drive business growth * Provide strategic financial leadership across the organization Strategic Projects * Lead on acquisitions, from initial due diligence through transaction execution to post-deal integration * Support commercial and operational initiatives with financial modeling and analysis Ideal Candidate Profile Essential Qualifications & Experience * Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) * Proven experience in software/SaaS companies, with understanding of subscription business models * Strong track record in IFRS accounts preparation and statutory reporting * Experience with mergers and acquisitions – investigating, transacting, and integrating businesses * Background in AIM-listed or similar publicly traded companies Key Attributes * Strategic thinker who can balance detail-oriented financial management with big-picture business development * Proactive and entrepreneurial mindset – comfortable taking initiative and driving change * Strong communicator who can translate complex financial information for diverse stakeholders * Commercially minded with ability to partner effectively with the CEO and leadership team * Comfortable operating autonomously in a flexible, results-focused environment What We Offer * Competitive salary commensurate with experience * Share options – genuine equity stake (options) in a growing business * Flexible working arrangement – circa 4 days per month with hours decided collaboratively * Strategic influence – genuine seat at the table in shaping company direction * Opportunity to work in the dynamic cyber security GRC sector To Apply: Please submit your CV and a cover letter outlining your relevant experience and interest in this role.
