Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust is an Acute Hospital in the East of England. We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and inspiring Theatre Charge Nurse to join our friendly and highly dedicated team.
Responsibilities
* Support the Clinical Leads, Matron and Theatre Manager in the general management of theatre areas at unit level, ensuring the team delivers excellent care throughout the patient’s journey.
* Assist with Orthopaedic and trauma theatres and provide support for general surgery theatres as required.
* Be flexible in the approach to the clinical area and offer additional support to other specified theatres when needed.
* Promote and develop the concept of a single department, sharing the workload through teamwork.
* Assist the Clinical Leads, Matrons and Theatre Manager in driving the team forward in a rapidly changing environment and support junior members of the team.
