About the Role We are seeking an experienced and qualified ACA or ACCA audit professional to join our growing practice. This role is ideal for someone with at least 7 years' experience in audit, currently working in practice, and ready to take a senior leadership role. We welcome applications from existing Responsible Individuals (RIs) or candidates actively working toward RI status. The client base spans varied sectors, with a strong weighting in manufacturing and construction. Clients typically have turnovers averaging £30 million, offering complex and stimulating audit work. Key Responsibilities * Lead and oversee statutory audit engagements, acting as RI if applicable * Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring a high standard of service delivery * Supervise, mentor, and develop audit staff, promoting a supportive team culture * Make informed decisions and contribute to strategic practice development * Ensure compliance with audit regulations, internal quality standards, and deadlines * Liaise with clients and internal teams to ensure smooth delivery and client satisfaction Requirements * ACA or ACCA qualified * Minimum of 7 years' experience in audit within an accountancy practice * RI status held or actively working toward it * Strong knowledge of audit and financial reporting standards * Experience working with SME clients, ideally in manufacturing or construction * Demonstrated leadership ability and team management experience * Professional, honest, and committed to upholding high standards of integrity * Open to candidates from firms of all sizes What’s on Offer * Competitive salary: £70,000 – £100,000, based on experience * Opportunity to become an RI or further develop RI responsibilities * Exposure to a diverse and high-quality client base * Supportive leadership team and clear path for progression * Hybrid working and flexible arrangements considered Audit RI ACA qualified ACCA qualified Audit manager Senior audit manager
