Job Description Job Description Service Engineer — Windows, Doors & Conservatories Location: South Wales (covering customer sites across the region) Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Hours: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm (with occasional later finishes for emergency call-outs) Benefits: Company van with fuel card, paid bank holidays Role Responsibilities • Attend service call-outs to assess, repair, and adjust windows, doors, locks, conservatories, and associated hardware in uPVC and aluminium. • Identify, source, and order replacement parts when required. • Carry out emergency call-outs when necessary. • Ensure the service vehicle is fully stocked and report any fitting issues to the Installation Manager. • Assist with maintenance and general tasks within the factory and recycling unit. • Receive and quality-check deliveries. • Support fitting teams with installation jobs when required. • Strive to complete service calls in a single visit wherever possible. • Carry out general maintenance duties in the showroom and factory. Requirements • Proven experience in window, door, and conservatory installation and service work. • Knowledge of the wider building industry is advantageous. • Ability to fit blinds would be an advantage. • Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team. • Full UK driving licence (any points or disqualifications must be disclosed at application stage).
