T2M Resourcing are working with a manufacturing business looking to recruit an Operations Manager as part of their 2025 growth.
As Operations Manager, the role will run a manufacturing and production facility including responsibility for H&S, production optimisation, quality, and the business P&L.
Duties as Operations Manager:
* Leading a business of 30+ staff including engineering, production, and operations.
* Setting and managing business unit budgets.
* Driving team members to achieve business goals and objectives.
* Identifying new sales opportunities.
* Developing key market knowledge.
* Working closely with commercial teams on contracts and costs.
* Project management of customer and internal continuous improvement projects.
Requirements to be successful as Operations Manager:
* Degree or similar level qualification in Business Management, Engineering, or Manufacturing.
* Experience leading manufacturing/production operations.
* Project management and continuous improvement expertise.
* Understanding of mechanical and manufacturing engineering fundamentals.
* Knowledge of commercial finance and running a profit & loss.
* Clear and confident communicator, able to present to board/exec level.
* Strong problem-solving skills.
* Management and leadership qualities, able to mentor and support other staff.
This role is based in the Rugby area however will also require travel in the UK, therefore a UK driving license is essential.
