An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager – Fit Out to join one of the UK’s leading residential developers on a major mid-to-high-rise RC frame development in East London. With a project completion date extending to 2032, this is a long-term opportunity to take ownership of the internal delivery phase on a flagship scheme.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the fit out process across a substantial residential development comprising 370 units, with the first phase due for handover in January 2027. At peak, you will lead a team of up to 16 Site and Finishing Managers, ensuring the programme is delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the complete fit out process from internal framing through to first fix, second fix and final handover.
• Manage and coordinate a large site-based management team to achieve programme milestones.
• Drive quality, health & safety and customer satisfaction throughout the delivery phase.
• Liaise closely with commercial, technical and customer care teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Maintain programme performance and resolve issues to ensure timely handovers.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering large-scale residential developments.
• Extensive knowledge of the fit out process, including internal framing, first fix, second fix and handover stages.
• Strong leadership experience managing multiple Site Managers and Finishing Managers on high-volume projects.
• Background working directly for a main contractor or residential developer.
• Experience on mid-to-high-rise RC frame developments is essential.
