We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. Duties
* Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications.
* Oversee meal preparation, ensuring quality and presentation meet our standards.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during busy periods.
* Manage inventory and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
* Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, sharing culinary techniques and best practices.
* Monitor food stock levels and assist in menu planning based on seasonal availability.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, preferably within a restaurant setting.
* Strong culinary skills with a focus on food preparation and cooking techniques.
* Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in meal preparation.
* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
