SEN Teacher – Inclusion Room (Primary School)
Full Time – Starting September
Location: Burnley (easily accessible, outskirts location)
We are looking to appoint a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teacher to join our friendly primary school in Burnley from September. This is a full-time role based within our inclusion room, working closely with children who need additional support to access learning and thrive in school.
Our school is a two-form entry setting with a warm, supportive staff team and a strong focus on inclusion. We are proud of our caring ethos and the positive relationships we build with pupils and families.
The Role
You will take the lead in our inclusion room, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including SEND and social, emotional, and mental health needs. The role will involve planning and delivering tailored learning, working closely with teaching assistants, and liaising with class teachers, SENCo, and parents.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a real difference and helping children feel safe, confident, and ready to learn.

* Has experience working with pupils with SEND (in a primary setting preferably)
* Can create a calm, nurturing, and structured environment
* Is confident in adapting the curriculum to meet individual needs
* Builds strong relationships with pupils, staff, and families
* Is patient, flexible, and committed to inclusion
* Works well as part of a team but is also able to take initiative

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
