The Role
As an RE Teacher, you will:
* Deliver engaging and thought-provoking RE lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
* Encourage students to explore a range of religious, ethical, and philosophical topics
* Foster a respectful and inclusive classroom environment
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing targeted feedback
* Contribute to curriculum planning and enrichment activities
* Participate in parents’ evenings and school events
Candidate Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience teaching RE within a UK secondary school setting (including placements for ECTs)
* Strong subject knowledge across a range of religious and ethical topics
* Excellent communication and classroom management skills
* Ability to engage and inspire students of all abilities
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare
