Job Description
We’re looking for a Customer Service Assistant to join our team at One Stop, a subsidiary of Tesco. You will work in a fast-paced retail environment, providing excellent customer service, stocking shelves, processing payments, and maintaining the store’s appearance.
You will play an important role in the store's daily operations, always striving to improve customer service through on-the-job coaching and feedback, ensuring a safe environment for both staff and customers.
You will be Responsible For
* Serving customers with passion and pride, delivering natural service.
* Encouraging customer feedback through surveys.
* Working across all store areas including online, tills, replenishment, vending, and stock routines.
* Following safety training and procedures.
* Participating in seasonal, community, and charity events.
* Understanding store performance and contributing to profit.
* Living company values and following policies.
* Properly clocking in and out for shifts.
* Following security procedures and wearing safety equipment.
* Adhering to the 'think 25' policy on age-restricted products.
* Responding promptly to assistance calls and self-checkout interventions.
* Maintaining a clean, organized store environment.
* Potentially managing shifts in absence of supervisors.
* Completing all relevant training for safety and legal compliance.
If the store has a Post Office Local, duties include managing daily operations and passing necessary background checks.
