The successful candidate will be:
1. A practising Catholic or committed to supporting the ethos of our federation of schools;
2. An excellent classroom practitioner;
3. Organised and have good inter-personal skills;
4. Accountable for standards of the pupils in their class;

6. Highly motivated and hold equally high expectations of our children’s achievements, their behaviour, and skills development;
7. Able to nurture, inspire and motivate pupils of all abilities;
8. Enjoy working as part of a dedicated team to achieve the best for each and every pupil;
9. Knowledgeable of the current curriculum, educational reform and a readiness to embrace the new ‘Curriculum for Wales.’
10. Able to focus on raising standards in particular with Literacy, Numeracy and DCF skills across the curriculum.
11. Dedicated to support the wider school and parish community.

Shortlisted Candidates will be invited to visit the school prior to interview. Candidates will be required to make a 10 minute presentation followed by a series of interview questions from the selection panel.
