Class 2 HIAB Grab Driver – Roofing Specialist (Company will put you through your HIAB if you dont have it)
We are currently recruiting for a Class 2 HIAB Grab Driver to join a well‑established roofing specialist based in Uddingston. This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity offering consistent hours and long‑term stability.
Start Date: Monday 7th April
Pay Rate: £14–£15 per hour depending on experience
Working Hours
1. Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 4:30pm
2. Friday: 7:00am – 4:00pm
Key Responsibilities
3. Operating a Class 2 vehicle with HIAB grab
4. Delivering roofing materials to various sites
5. Assisting with loading/unloading when required
6. Completing deliveries safely and efficiently
7. Carrying out daily vehicle checks and ensuring compliance
Requirements
8. Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
9. HIAB certification preferred but not essential If you only hold a Class 2 licence, the company will put you through your HIAB qualification
10. CPC and Digital Tachograph card
11. Previous experience preferred but newly qualified Class 2 drivers are welcome to apply
12. Good understanding of health & safety
13. Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
