Are you a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and committed individual capable of working under pressure?
Join the operational MFT Telecoms Team as a Deputy Telecoms Infrastructure Manager. You will exercise initiative and judgment to ensure the provision of an efficient telecoms service supporting the Department and satellite locations.
Requirements include being self-motivated, able to collaborate with Contractors and Telecom colleagues, possessing good organisational skills, and confidently communicating with a broad range of individuals. Candidates must be reliable, flexible, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
You will be responsible for covering a full range of Telecoms Infrastructure duties to ensure effective service delivery across MFT, managing small installation and amendment projects, and directly overseeing contractors on-site. Additionally, you will act as the first point of contact for Telecoms Infrastructure issues within Community Health Centers and Clinics, liaising with building owners/managers as needed.
You will provide advice to senior management regarding policy development and equipment deployment, implement departmental audits to ensure policies and procedures are followed, and deputise for the Telecoms Infrastructure Manager when necessary. Handling requests and complaints referred from the Telecoms Infrastructure Manager or Switchboard Manager will also be part of your role.
