Assistant Store Manager – Glasgow (Fixed Term, 3‑Month Contract)
We’re looking for an Assistant Store Manager to join our home & fashion store team in Glasgow (G31 4BW) on a 3‑month fixed‑term contract.
Responsibilities
* Support the General Manager with day‑to‑day store operations.
* Lead and support staff and volunteers to deliver an excellent customer journey that reflects our values.
* Ensure the highest standard of customer service.
* Achieve sales, target and campaign activity goals.
* Maintain a high standard of visual merchandising.
* Maximise sales through both physical and digital channels.
* Recruit, develop and retain volunteers.
* Assist with stock generation and management.
* Work on a flexible rota, including weekends and bank holidays.
* Adapt to the physical demands of collections, deliveries and donations.
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience in a customer‑facing role.
* Experience supervising staff or volunteers.
* Commercially driven with a passion for new ideas.
