About the Role
You’ll play a key role in supporting the firm’s charity clients across a wide range of matters, including:
* Creating and registering new charitable entities.
* Advising trustees on their role, duties, and powers.
* Supporting charity mergers and asset transfers.
* Preparing policies and governance documentation.
* Closing and de-registering charities.
* Liaising with the Charity Commission and advising on regulatory issues.
* Collaborating with colleagues in property and employment on charity-related matters.
Alongside your client work, you’ll also be involved in:
* Supervising and mentoring junior colleagues.
* Business development and networking to grow the charity practice.
* Contributing to the wider success of the Private Client team.
Location and flexibility
This role can be flexible across office locations and can support hybrid and part time working. Get in touch to discuss your working preferences.
About You
We’d love to hear from you if you are:
* Solicitor with at least 5 years’ PQE, with solid experience working with charities of different sizes.
* Confident in applying legal principles and exercising sound judgment.
* Dedicated to delivering high-quality work and excellent client service.
* Approachable and able to build strong, trusted relationships with clients and colleagues.
* Enthusiastic about sharing your knowledge and developing junior team members.
