Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Swim Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a strong background in sports coaching. As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching swimming techniques to individuals of all ages and skill levels, ensuring a safe and enjoyable learning environment.
Responsibilities
* Conduct swimming lessons for various age groups, from beginners to advanced swimmers.
* Monitor and assess students' progress, providing constructive feedback to help them improve their skills.
* Ensure the safety of all participants during lessons by enforcing pool rules and regulations.
* Maintain a clean and organised teaching environment, including the pool area and equipment.
* Communicate effectively with students and their guardians regarding progress and any concerns.
* Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance teaching skills.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in sports coaching or teaching is highly desirable.
* Strong swimming skills with the ability to demonstrate various techniques effectively.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage students of all ages.
* A patient and encouraging demeanour, fostering a positive learning atmosphere.
* Relevant certifications in swimming instruction or lifeguarding are an advantage but not essential.
