Location: Cheltenham, Gloucestershire Hours: Full-time, Permanent Salary: Up to £45k bonus + exceptional benefits package
Job Description
We’re excited to share that our client is seeking a Business Development Manager to join their team. If you’re motivated, interested in the insurance world, sales-focused, and excel in a collaborative environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
Key Responsibilities of a Business Development Manager
* Proactively prospect new clients through well-researched, personalised outreach via various communication channels.
* Schedule meetings and develop strong relationships with potential clients, clearly communicating how the company’s services can add value to their operations.
* Attend industry events to network and identify prospective clients, representing the company with enthusiasm and expertise.
* Promote operational excellence within the organisation, contributing to the continuous improvement of services and processes.
* Provide timely and consistent follow-up on partner requests and queries, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
Key Skills of a Business Development Manager
* Proven experience in sales, with a demonstrated ability to engage effectively with clients.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a reliable, positive, and detail-oriented approach.
* Strong follow-up skills and the ability to interact confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
* A willingness to learn and develop additional skills, with a focus on achieving results and exceeding targets.
