Job Overview
We are seeking a Term time only dedicated and passionate Early Years Manager to join our team. This role is essential in providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their development through play and structured activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children.
Duties
* Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote learning through play.
* Create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all children.
* Collaborate with staff to ensure the highest standards of care and education.
* Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and external agencies regarding children's needs.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the nursery setting.
Skills
* Minimum level 3 qualification, level 5 desirable
* Proven leadership and management, minimum 2 years
* Manager day to day operations
* Strong management and leadership abilities to guide a team of educators.
* Experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential.
* Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being able to take initiative when required.
* A valid driving licence is advantageous for potential off-site activities or training sessions.
* A passion for childcare, demonstrating empathy and patience towards young learners.
