My client currently has an exciting opportunity for an Infrastructure Engineer to join their experienced team.
You will need active SC or DV clearance for this role.

* Kibana, Ping, Nessus, netbox, elastic
* Government and international military encryption
Essential Key Skills:
* Windows Server 2016+ administration
* VMware vSphere/vCenter/VCF, Azure, Microsoft 365 administration
* Linux (CentOS/RedHat/Ubuntu)
* PowerShell
* EUD provisioning (Autopilot), maintenance, patching, and hardening
* SSO - concepts and operation
* Understanding of working in protectively marked environments
Responsibilities will be defined during induction and are likely to include:
* Maintain, improve, and secure their multi-classification, virtualised, collaboration, and development environments
* Work with IT infrastructure colleagues to enhance their 'Secure by Design' capabilities internally and across projects
* Provide infrastructure support to their public cloud SaaS offerings (Office 365) and project-based systems (public, private, and hybrid clouds) during implementation and support phases
* Perform maintenance tasks on infrastructure through change control
* Assist with monitoring and management of ticketing and alerting systems for changes and security alerts
* Triage alerts and perform appropriate actions
* Maintain monitoring components aligned with infrastructure developments
* Ensure all platforms are patched according to provider recommendations and security policies
* Assess impact of incidents, initiate recovery, and ensure follow-up actions
* Identify trends and problems to improve stability and performance
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge and skills in designing and building secure cloud and network technologies
* Develop personal knowledge through study and research towards relevant certifications
* Advise customers and project teams on infrastructure and support issues
* Cascade knowledge through articles for the team and wider organisation
* Support the team in winning new business
