* Since 1958 we’ve been crafting precision steel structures for the UK’s most complex civil engineering and infrastructure projects.
* From our 23,000 sq ft facility in Aldridge, we deliver bespoke fabrication for bridges, formwork, renewable energy installations, and major construction projects.
* Recently becoming an EOT Business, we are now looking to grow our market and seek an ambitious and self‑motivated person to create business growth.
The Role: Marketing‑Led Business Growth
* Marketing & Digital Content Creation (70%): Build our digital presence, launch a new SEO‑optimised website, create and execute content strategies across LinkedIn, YouTube, and industry platforms, write compelling case studies and project stories, produce high‑quality visual content.
* Lead Generation & New Business Pursuit (30%): Implement and manage CRM, identify high‑value prospects, conduct targeted outreach, qualify inbound leads, support tender submissions, build relationships with industry bodies, coordinate post‑event follow‑up.
Responsibilities
* Lead the development and launch of a new, SEO‑optimised website showcasing our capabilities and projects.
* Create and execute content strategies across LinkedIn, YouTube, and industry platforms.
* Write compelling case studies, articles, and project stories that demonstrate technical authority.
* Produce and coordinate high‑quality visual content (photography, video, graphics) featuring our facility, projects, and people.
* Develop monthly content calendars, email marketing campaigns, and thought‑leadership pieces.
* Track performance metrics and report on ROI.
* Implement refreshed brand identity across all touchpoints.
* Manage CRM system to track leads, pipeline, and conversions.
* Identify and pursue high‑value prospects in civil engineering, infrastructure, renewables, and modular construction sectors.
* Qualify inbound leads, nurture through structured funnels, and support tender submissions.
* Build and maintain relationships with industry bodies and key stakeholders.
* Maintain regular client contact through newsletters and account updates.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven B2B marketing experience in manufacturing, construction, engineering, or industrial sectors.
* Digital marketing expertise – SEO, Google Ads, LinkedIn campaigns, website management.
* Content creation skills – copywriting, briefing designers, coordinating video production.
* CRM proficiency – HubSpot, Zoho, or similar platforms.
* Lead generation experience – turning marketing activity into sales opportunities.
* Data‑driven mindset – comfortable with Google Analytics, conversion tracking, and performance reporting.
* Self‑starter mentality – building systems from scratch with autonomy and accountability.
Highly Desirable
* Experience marketing technical products or services.
* Knowledge of tender/bid processes or public sector procurement.
* Familiarity with quality standards (ISO 9001, etc.) and how to leverage them commercially.
* Understanding of sustainability/ESG in construction/manufacturing.
