Senior Community Manager (not Digital/Marketing) – LOCATION
Base pay range: £50000-£60000 - Dependant On Experience
Location: Blakfriars, EC4A 4AD
Employment type: Full Time - Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week (8.30am-5.30pm OR 9am-6pm, subject to change)
This role is focused on keeping occupancy high, ensuring members are happy, and teams are motivated across several locations. Spacemade is expanding rapidly and aims to deliver a hospitality-led, community-driven coworking experience across multiple sites.
You will own a cluster of buildings, lead Community Managers and Associates, and deliver strong member experiences, commercial results, and operational excellence. You will be a hands-on presence at your primary site and a strategic leader across your wider region.
Responsibilities
* A proven multi-site operator, with experience leading teams and driving performance across multiple locations.
* Commercially focused — manage occupancy, member retention, and site-level P&Ls.
* Natural leader who builds trust, develops people, and gets the best out of individuals and teams.
* Experience in coworking or managed offices is essential; background in hospitality, leisure, or retail is a strong advantage.
* Confident in managing senior stakeholders, from landlords to leadership, with clear communication and influence.
* Lead and develop your team — Line manage Community Managers and Associates, driving performance and growth.
* Deliver commercial results — oversee occupancy, member retention, and revenue across sites.
* Maintain high standards of member experience, hospitality, and operational delivery across your cluster.
* Be the point of escalation — resolve challenges quickly, supporting your team to balance member experience with business outcomes.
* Collaborate cross-functionally — partner with HQ teams to align strategy and execution.
* Represent Spacemade — build relationships with landlords, members, and local partners to embody brand values and standards.

* Extensive experience managing multi-site operations in coworking or managed offices (required); hospitality, leisure, or retail exposure valued.
* Proven success driving occupancy, retention, and revenue.

* Commercial acumen, connecting operational delivery to business outcomes.
* Confident communicator, skilled with internal and external stakeholders.
